EVENT INFORMATION

The 7th annual Beyond the Badge Run and Walk benefiting the Jason Baker Public Safety Scholarship will take place on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 at the historic Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Click here for a schedule of events.

This event includes:

5K Run

5K Fitness Walk

1.5 mile Family Stroll

All events are open to people of all ages and abilities.

Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age division in the 5K run.

The course winds through the historic, tree lined cemetery and will pass by the Heroes of Public Safety Section and Crown Hill's beautiful Gothic Chapel. The 5-mile courses summit "The Hill", the highest point (842 ft) in Marion County and the final resting place of famous Hoosier poet, James Whitcomb Riley.

Please note that the race organizer reserves the right to delay, reschedule or cancel the event due to severe weather or ther extreme conditions (No refunds).
